Melee weapons like to get personal and up-close. With a great selection of kits, such as the ones built for speed, or the ones built for parrying, and maybe even the ones that reach afar, these weapons are great to deal damage using the weapon itself rather than its abilities.
But with great feats come even greater challenges, as these weapon suffer from limited range, it is typically risky to fight head-on with another melee weapon. Aside from that, melee doesn’t control space well compared to ranged weapons, so ranged weapons are a potential threat among them.
