Throwable weapons can deal damage from a distance while also taking advantage of the game’s physics system. Their arcs, bounces, and unpredictable trajectories make them harder to dodge, and they can hit opponents in unconventional angles or even score accidental hits. This makes them useful for pressuring enemies without fully committing to close combat.
However, some throwable weapons are inconsistent and heavily timing-dependent. Their reliance on physics means shots can easily miss or backfire, especially with poor aim or positioning. Some also lack sustained pressure compared to standard ranged weapons, and once thrown, you are briefly left without offense.
Category Descriptions
Damage
Evaluate the weapon's overall potential to deal damage, including burst and sustained output.
AoE (Area of Effect)
Assess the weapon's ability to affect multiple targets and control portions of the map or groups of enemies.
Control
Measure how effectively the weapon can hinder, restrict, or disrupt enemy movement.
Mobility
Rate the weapon's capability to assist in movement or repositioning across the map through its abilities.
Range
Determine how far the weapon can effectively reach or hit targets using its abilities.
Size
Evaluate the physical size and hitbox of the weapon, including how much space it occupies or covers.
